What is Mattyks7seas?
A playground structure for toddlers in the beautiful setting of Rexhame Beach built to honor the memory of Matt Kelly, lifelong resident of Marshfield who passed away at in 2016.
Why fun-raise?
This structure built for ages 2-5yr olds was gifted to the Town by Matt’s family and friends. It is maintained by these same people and additions/enhancements are made annually by funds raise at events like a Parking Lot Party
Having Fun is our goal while raising some funds.
What is a parking lot party?
Exactly what it states.. a party in the parking lot of Rexhame Beach!
Everyone has there own space to dance in. They are 9feet by 12feet so socially distanced safe.
Music, of all types, dance lessons that are easy to follow, merchandise for sale, restrooms, tailgating, bring your own food, lounge chairs. Hang out with us and have a great day.
What is the cost?
This event is donation based.
Will I have to wear a mask?
Masks while dancing are optional since the event is outside and socially distanced.
We have Mattyks7seas masks available when you donate. We ask that practice safety when approaching anyone to chat.
What are the details of the time?
Saturday May 1 at 1pm
Rain date is Sunday May 2 at 1pm
It will go for 1 1/2 -2 hours
Do I need a beach sticker ?
No you do not.
Will the concession stand be open?
No it will not so bring your own drinks and food.
Do I need to know how to dance?
Everyone can move .. that’s all there is to it.
You can participate in the instruction part of the party of just do your own dance.
