February 2, 2022, Marshfield, MA - Friends of the Marshfield Animal Shelter is pleased to announce a benefit for the Marshfield Animal Shelter will take place on Saturday, March 5, 2022. This family friendly event, featuring the classic rock music of local favorites The Leon Street Rockers, will be held from 5pm to 9pm at the Marshfield Elks Lodge, 1121 Ocean Street, Marshfield, MA, and includes dancing, raffles, finger foods and a cash bar.
Vicky Lynch, President and Treasurer of Friends of the Marshfield Animal Shelter said:
“We are so grateful to partner with the Leon Street Rockers and the Marshfield Elks to offer a family friendly event to our community and supporters. Through their generosity, we can offer great entertainment at a comfortable venue for a worthy cause. The proceeds from the event will be used predominantly to fund our support of the Marshfield Animal Shelter but will also help fund our community programs which assist pet owners on the south shore with low-cost spay and neuter services, veterinary costs, pet medications, and pet food and supplies. This event is a perfect way to support the Town’s animal shelter and the important work we do for the community. We look forward to your patronage of this great cause.”
Tickets to this event are $15 per adult, $10 per child 12 years and under, and $40 for up to a family of 4, in advance.

About the Friends of the Marshfield, MA Animal Shelter, Inc.:
The Friends of the Marshfield, MA Animal Shelter, Inc. is an all-volunteer, community- based non-profit established in August 2015. We are a 501(c)3 public charity funded primarily by private donations.
Our mission is to further the well-being of the pets at the Marshfield Animal Shelter, a no-kill facility, and animals in the community of Marshfield, MA and on the south shore. We supplement town funding for the Shelter for food, veterinary care, spay and neuter and adoption services, and provide training, socialization, and daily care taking for the Shelter's pets. We also provide help to pet owners in south shore communities through various assistance programs, such as low-cost spay and neuter services, a core initiative of our group.
