WGBH is excited to announce our first-ever virtual book club! Over the course of the next four weeks, we encourage you to join us as we devour Whitney Scharer's debut novel, "The Age of Light." Based on the life of pioneering photographer Lee Miller, Sharer’s novel takes us from the cabarets of bohemian Paris to the battlefields of war-torn Europe during World War II, from discovering radical new photography techniques to documenting the liberation of the concentration camps as one of the first female war correspondents. We will provide you with reading goals to help keep you on track, then join us virtually on Wed, May 13, and listen as a WGBH personality and the author herself discuss all the intricacies of the novel. A Q&A with those tuning in will follow.
