In that same spirit, nothing could have prepared me and the many people that volunteered during Merry Days for the out pouring of gratitude for this event. The kindness of people is and attitude of gratitude surrounds us. And I think we are the lucky ones because this is evident in all that we do for one another in Marshfield. Of the people I spoke to personally, none were ready for the amount of joy they would have felt, the tears on their cheeks and the resolve that it is in giving that we receive.
This Giving Tuesday, supporters of Friends of the Marshfield Animal Shelter can create a Facebook fundraiser on their behalf and ask followers to donate to help our four-legged friends.

The last day of school is on June 17, and in the meantime, acts of kindness and support like Martha and Stacey’s bookmark idea are keeping Marshfield students engaged and feeling supported.

He never got to say goodbye to his teachers and didn’t know all of the things that would be his last. Last car ride from school, last lunch, last homeroom. It’s MHS tradition to have teachers ‘clap’ out the seniors on the last day of school as a way of saying goodbye, good luck, we love you, and that won’t happen.”
